Broadcasting is a conversation, not a monologue. These three Recupy features turn passive listeners into an engaged audience - and show you what is working.

Publishing podcasts

Add a podcast to your station and publish episodes under it. Each podcast carries a title, description and cover image; episodes are listed on your public page and in your apps, and can be distributed by RSS so subscribers get every new episode automatically. Podcasts are perfect for archiving your best shows and interviews.

Taking song requests

Enable the request feature and listeners can ask for songs - but only from the tracks you allow. Mark a playlist as available on demand to make its songs requestable, and use the frequency and repeat limits to keep the request queue spam-free.

Reading your statistics

  • Live listeners: the station profile shows current listener counts, broken down per mount point.
  • Historical reports: listener trends over time, your most played tracks, and where your audience comes from by source and geography.
  • Sponsor reporting: use listener data to prove your reach to advertisers and sponsors.

Troubleshooting

  • Requests not appearing: is the request feature on, and is the playlist marked on demand?
  • Listener count looks low: only active connections are counted - check per mount.
  • Podcast RSS not working: confirm the episode file exists and its status is published, not draft.
