Chrome Extension: One-Click Broadcasting from the Desktop

For hosts who live at a desk, the Recupy Chrome Extension removes every step between "I should go live" and being live.

Setting up

1. Install the Recupy extension in Google Chrome (or a Chromium-based browser that supports Chrome extensions).
2. Click the Recupy icon in the toolbar and sign in with your DJ / streamer account - the same credentials you use for WebDJ.
3. Pick your station if your account has several.

Going live

Press the broadcast button in the popup. Your microphone level meter and stream status live right in the toolbar, so you can keep an eye on the broadcast while working in other tabs. When you stop, AutoDJ resumes automatically - the same live-first handover as every other Recupy entry point.

Good to know

• The extension respects DJ account scheduling: if an account is limited to certain hours, it can only go live within them.
• Stream format follows your mount settings - no encoder configuration needed.
• The extension is part of the Enterprise plan; contact us to enable it for your team.
