Prefer a full desktop studio? Any broadcast software that streams to standard radio servers can feed your Recupy station - DJ software with built-in broadcasting, dedicated encoder tools, or full automation suites.
The five details every encoder asks for
Open your Recupy control panel and copy these into your software:
- Server address (host)
- Port
- Mount / stream path
- Username and password - your DJ account credentials
- Format and bitrate - match your mount settings (for example 128 kbps MP3)
Enter them, press connect, and your live signal takes over the stream; disconnecting hands back to AutoDJ.
Choosing software
- Simple talk shows: a lightweight encoder tool is enough - set it up once, one button to go live.
- Music-driven DJ sets: DJ software with deck mixing and its own broadcast module.
- Full station automation on your side: automation suites can stream into Recupy too - though most stations let Recupy AutoDJ do that job instead.
Troubleshooting connections
- Connection refused: re-check host, port, mount and credentials character by character.
- Connected but silent: wrong output device or muted encoder mixer.
- Robotic or choppy audio: your upload bandwidth cannot sustain the bitrate - lower it and test again.
